Summer Bliss…
One of our favorite things to do in the summer is visit Jason’s parents in Ooltewah and go hiking in the woods. They have acres of untouched wild blackberry bushes and we fill our bellies!! This year we found a giant mushroom the size of River’s head and a box turtle which we shared some blackberries with. He already had the juice all over his mouth so we knew he had been eating the berries as they ripened and dropped to the ground. At the end of the day, River couldn’t hold his head up and passed out in the rocking chair. It was a fun day!
